INTRODUCTION

The main objective of this series is to offer a framework for presenting recent results obtained in the area of theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects of environmental and life sciences problems. Another purpose is to create a link between the researchers and the possible users of the applications.

The organizers believe that this meeting will provide a forum for the interaction of specialists involved in the creation, development and application of mathematical models and computer software related to environmental and life sciences problems.

TOPICS

First Announcement

Papers are invited on the topics outlined or other in close relation to.
More details about the conference programme will be given in the Second annoucement.
Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted to cpopa@univ-ovidius.ro or ro_diff@yahoo.com before August 31, 2010.
Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper.

PROCEEDINGS

The Proceedings of the workshop containing the full-length papers will be published at Editura Academiei Romane and will contain only the presented and favourable referred contributions.
Details concerning the lehgth and format of the papers will be given in the Second Announcement.

Second Announcement

To increase the visibility of our meeting, starting with this 8-th edition the organizers decided to edit an electronic form of the Workshop's Proceedings. This version will be posted on the website of the conference and a CD-ROM containing it will be available for participants at Registration. In this respect, the contributors are requested to submitt the full versions of their contributions (pdf files, no special format imposed) up to October 1st, 2010.
Concerning the hard copy form of the Workshop's Proceedings, as we already mentioned in the First Announcement it will contain only the presented and favourable refereed contributions. The maximal lenght of a Proceedings paper is 6 A4 pages.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is available in hotels from Constanta and Mamaia (see www.cta.ro) . The organizers can make the hotel reservations but the request must be sent before September 30, 2010.

CONFERENCE FEE

The registration fee is 200 RON payable at the registration desk. It will include the cost of the banquet, coffee breaks and the conference materials.
